Line-bred "Skipper" Stallion

     This young stallion is one of our rising stars. Array stands 15-2 1/2 and is very structually correct with medium heavy bone. He is heavily muscled and stands very square. Though this stallion looks like a halter horse he is a superb athlete and extremely quick moving and powerful. When he is working or playing he uses his hind end and is a naturally good leaded.horse, working as easily to one side as the other. You also couldn't ask for a better mind on a horse. He is very willing to please, patient, and easily controlled by tone of voice. When we first started his round pen lessons he amazed us all, not only by how quickly he learned something but also by his powers of retention. Within hours he was performing and responding like he'd been doing it forever and he never forgets anything.
      Array's sire is "Commander Array", who is a son of World Champion and Leading Sire, Spanish Array. Commander Array placed third at the 1999 AQHA World Show and was the only top five horse that wasn't Impressive-bred. Commander is the earner of 24 Halter, 18 Amateur Halter pts. Array N Gold's dam, Bright Pinky, is a daughter of Leading Sire, Classical Skipper, and her dam is a daughter of Skippa Sure Bar. Bright Pinky is also a World and Reserve World Champion producer.
      We test bred Array N Gold in 2000 and when we saw the 2001 results we bred him back to quite a few mares for babies that arrived right on time this spring. He was offered to a limited outside book in 2003 and we are anxiously awaiting the 2004 foal crop. We have several photos of his babies available for you to see here. As a breeding stallion he is definitely doing what we had hoped he would. His children are very correct, short backed, well-muscled, square, good necks and gorgeous heads with his big expressive eyes. Looks like these babies are going to be top halter and performance prospects and they're friendly and outgoing too. We feel sure you're going to be seeing some of these guys on the circuit in the near future.
